Dear Pupils,

Another Friday the Thirteenth is here again! This time round, there are so many activities/commemoration that I would like to highlight to your attention.

1. Junior Entrepreneurship Programme (JEP) run by the Primary Six pupils
   - You may purchase your coupons at the counter along the Study Corners near the Science Block at Levels 2, 3 and 4.
   - All pupils in 5GA, 5GR and 5JU will be scheduled from 8 to 9 am.
   
   
2. World Kindness Movement
   Amazingly, it falls on Friday the Thirteenth. =)
   
   
   
   
   
   
   The organising committee is giving away daisies tomorrow and the nearest point for us is at Causeway Point (John Little) or at Woodlands Regional Library. Go and visit these places when you are free and give it to someone who has been a kind soul to everybody! While stock lasts!

Dear 5 Graciousness,

We are going to have our NAPFA Test this coming Tuesday (14 April 2009). You will only be tested the 5 stations for this Tuesday. Here is some advise to prepare you for your NAPFA:

1) Take a good rest the night before.

2) You should have a light meal 2-3 hours before the test.

3) You must be in your PE attire; track shoes are allowed for the test.

4) You must have your water-bottles with you at all times.

Aim for the best, everyone!

Hello everyone,

This is something interesting that is going to happen on 28 March 2009. Many people from different countries have pledged to contribute on this day from 8.30 - 9.30 pm only by switching off all lights surrounding them. This is a good effort to reduce global warming effects. Switch off your lights to vote for Earth!

Yes, one week of March holidays is over. I hope all of you had enjoyed your rest and time with your family.

At the same time, I hope you do remember to complete your holiday assignments. Below are a few of the assignments that were supposed to be completed within the holiday:

1. English - Write a letter to your parents to advise them on how to take care of their eyes
2. Mathematics - Worksheet
3. Science - Thematic Card (Tic Tac Toe)
   
4. Science - Design a Toy Competition (Optional)
5. iPBL - log in to lead.com for tasks given. The assignments for iPBL will be discussed in your Science lesson.

It is plenty of work. However, if it has been done bit by bit during the holidays, I trust that all of you will not have a problem completing your work.

I hope to see all of you fresh and ready for Term 3 tomorrow!

There is a Comic-Drawing Competition coming up. You need to make sure your drawings meet the following criteria:

1. Draw on an A4-sized paper.

2. You need to have a minimum of 2 frames to a maximum of 6 frames.

3. All languages are welcome.

4. This competition is open to Primary 4 to 6 pupils.

5. Be creative and play with colours as well.

There are many attractive prizes to be won (which includes PSP)!

Please feel free to come forward with your idea. Show me your draft work by this coming Thursday, 19th February alright!
